This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, and which rights you have under Swiss law (revised Federal Act on Data Protection, revFADP), European law (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and U.S. state law, in particular the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

For visitors in Switzerland and the European Union the controller is Swiss Techies GmbH. For visitors in the United States and the rest of the world the controller is Kern Operations LLC. Requests may be sent to either company; we coordinate internally.

2. What this website does not do
No cookies are set. No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks or social media plugins are used. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server.
3. Server log files
Our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. automatically processes technical data your browser transmits when you open this website: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, Art. 31 revFADP). Cloudflare may process data in the United States; transfers are based on the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
4. Request form
When you request Kanbanbar through the form, we process your name, email address, your optional message and your IP address to answer you and send the install link (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR). To block automated spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which is loaded only when you start filling in the form. Your message is delivered to us by email through Resend, Inc. (USA). We keep requests as long as needed to answer them and as required by law.
5. The Kanbanbar plugin
Kanbanbar runs inside your own Claude Code installation on your computer. Your tasks are stored locally on your machine and in your project folder. Task detection and spoken summaries use your own Claude Code session and your own account with Anthropic; we receive no data from the plugin. Read-aloud uses voices installed on your computer.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
